With the end of the trilogy the book is now being made into a movie. Many readers, such as myself are highly anticipating for the release of the movie, March 23, 2012. Jenifer Lawrence is playing our leading heroin Katniss. The trailer, was released last year, and recieved lots of positive feedback.
here's a link to the trailer:

I enjoyed the book, and recommend you put this book on your to read lists. The characters are given much dimension, which helps in this case with the additional love triangle in the story. The characters add to the captivating part of the book. Do not make an assumption that the love traingle is the main theme of the book. Make no mistake in comparing this with Twilight, either( which I make no comment about). Rather focuses on the brutality of the society and the Games the citizens are forced experience. One major thing that attracted me to this book was that no character was purely evil or good. Although we are able to identify the antagonist and the protagonist easily we find out that the protagonist Katniss bears some deep dark secrets of her own. AS the book progresses there are signs of an upcoming rebellion. To others Katniss is a symbol of the rebellion, and hope and everything good. However, in the book the guilt that she must carry with her and the pressure is revealed through her thoughts.
With this ramble I conclude my review and opinion of the Hunger Games book series.
Live long and prosper,
